28-04-2017

If you have spent all your travel budget during Easter and you stay in the city of Barcelona this long weekend, but, you do not have an euro in your pocket; do not worry, that will not be a reason to stay in the comfortable sofa of your student residence in Barcelona without being able to do anything.

We will tell you some fun and original proposals that will not leave you indifferent, and that, above all, will adapt to your scarce budget.

HANDMADE FESTIVAL: A festival full of good vibes and creativity.
"Do it yourself" is the motto that will be used for this new edition that takes place from 28th to 30th April at the Fira de Barcelona.
If you are a fan of the craf, the natural, the barter culture versus the culture of capitalism, you will find an endless number of workshops, exhibitions, markets and concerts that you will not know which to choose. In the workshops and exhibitions you can know a little more about techniques as old as crocheting and scrapbooking that have been recovered and adapted to current looks that will undoubtedly surprise you; You'll also find options for cooking and sweet treats on creative pastry, and for "handymen" there are multiple gardening and DIY options that will reinvent your repairs.
A place where you can go for a walk and find the inspiration "hand to hand".

FESTIVAL OF THE BEER OF THE POBLE ESPANYOL: this festival has been so successful in its previous editions, which has gone from lasting a weekend, in its first edition, to seven days in its current edition, thus, from April 28 to May 1 and May 5 to 7, if you approach the Plaza Mayor of Poble Espanyol, you will find a large terrace adapted to this Bavarian tradition, in which competitions as fun as eating hot dogs or lifting pitchers, Among others, will take place continuously.
You will also find workshops on how to serve beer with a shooter and there will be a DJ that will be responsible for softening this great event with music.
The fun is assured!

Inform your fellow student residences in Barcelona about these proposals so that you do not get bored this weekend.

With the arrival of April, a super special season begins and that in addition to being full of colors and aromas, marks the beginning of good weather.

In addition to gradually enjoying a warmer climate, the days are also getting longer, and personally we love it, since the day lasts much longer if at the end of classes or work, you still have a few moments of sun. Some people prefer wintertime, but we are fans of summertime and its long sunny days.
