This weekend I'm going to visit you in Barcelona!

Since your university residence is located next to the Sagrada Familia, you have it easy to know where to start your route. And having breakfast while watching this wonder is the best start of your new occupation as a tour guide. To finish impressing your visitors, nothing better than a guided tour.

If you have liked, you can continue with the modernist route by taking a pleasant walk to the Hospital Sant Pau, the largest modernist site that offers a garden area that attracts tourists from around the world.

From there, you can take the bus or the metro to the Parc Güell and take the typical photo with the mosaic lizard on the entrance staircase. The views of the city are incredible from there.

 We round off this modernist immersion with a walk along Passeig de Gràcia with a visit to Casa Milà, better known locally as La Pedrera. Do not miss other architectural wonders such as Casa Batlló.

From there, we go to the old town, known as Ciutat Vella. Go down the Vía Layetana and enter the Sant Pere neighborhood on Sant Pere més Alt Street. You will surely be amazed by the wonderful Palau de la Música. We recommend you stroll through the streets of Born, dine in one of its restaurants and have a drink in the busy Paseo del Born.

The next day, after a restful night in your student residence, and if the weather permits, what do you think of a beach day? You can go to the traditional neighborhood of Barceloneta, book a table in the sun where you can eat a paella and walk along its beaches. For the afternoon, from Port Vell, you can take the cable car to go "flying" to visit the mountain of Montjuïc. The views are impressive. And to end this tourist weekend, do not miss the Magic Fountain, a light and color show that will put the icing on your weekend in Barcelona.
