The days are getting shorter.

04-11-2016

Two weeks ago, we delay the hour in our watches one hour. After this change of hour you wake up in your dorm in Barcelona and realize that the days of sun and summer are over; autumn begins, leaves are falling from the trees and you can feel the cold wind, the color of the sea is not so blue, which is rather gray and almost all the beach bars have closed. It becomes increasingly cold and you have to wear warm clothes that got in the suitcase… but the hardest part of all this is that at 18.00h. is quite dark. Uffff so bad!

This time change, and the loss of daylight hours, change our routines, apart from biorhythms, affects many aspects of our daily lives, and also to your study routine.

As we told you in a previous article, organizing and having a discipline in your studio with an effective timetable, it is critical to successfully pass your grade and diminish the intellectual effort of study each day.

With the time change, the cardinal sin that will be hardest to avoid will be laziness, especially during these first few weeks, when your mind and your body are adapting to the new schedule. The important thing is to check whether the schedule that you have planned at the beginning of the year is still the best one; especially if you are someone who best studied in broad daylight. You can try to set the alarm an hour earlier, because if there is something good that has the new schedule is that getting early is not that hard! You can also take time to prepare and enjoy a good breakfast in your dorm and begin the study day strongly. If instead you prefer the darkness to study because you concentrate better, with this schedule are lucky, you can start studying earlier than planned because it will be dark, always illuminating your study site correctly.

And do not forget all the important tips we give you in the previous article: keep a good diet, make breaks, play sports and go with your friends to enjoy your stay in Barcelona, with a good planning there's time for everything!
