Renewed Barcelona Residencias
Almost everything in life changes. And the tastes and needs of university students when it comes to accommodation is no exception.
So, this summer, we have to renew ourselves and we do it with the illusion of knowing that the students who arrive in September will be pleasantly surprised with the change.
More single rooms
Sharing a room in your student residence can be a great experience if you have come to the city with a trusted friend. Confidences before sleeping, sharing the "5 minutes more" lazy mornings or even watching a movie together in the room may be some of the most pleasant routines to share a room.
However, if you have different class schedules (one in the morning and the other in the afternoon) or you are looking for maximum tranquility or privacy, it may be a little more uncomfortable.
Although sharing a room is a cheaper option, more and more students prefer to enjoy their own room. That's why we decided to convert most of the double rooms into individual rooms where the students, in addition to having more privacy, can enjoy more space, with a large bed and more closet and desk space.
More extras
And that leads to students wanting to spend more time in their room.
Although we love that our university students share common areas, there is time for everything. There is time to eat together, watch a movie or a game or simply comment on the daily experiences lying on the sofa. And also to enjoy your space and privacy.
As of September the rooms of our student residence will have their own TV in the room, a small fridge in case you want to snack between meals, a 1.35m bed and more spacious desks with accessories for your mobile or Tablet.
Common zones
The common areas are also renewed adapting to the tastes of the students. The TV area is converted into a comfortable chill-out where you can disconnect with your fellow residents.
The dining room is more versatile if you fancy eating as a group, as a couple or prefer to eat alone while listening to music or reading.
Of course, as always, we keep the full board, that is, breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week so you do not have to worry about daily shopping or cooking.
If the university schedules do not allow you to eat at the residence, you only have to tell us the day before and we will prepare the food to take away in a comfortable bag-fridge.
We are looking forward to your knowledge of our new student residence. Tell us if you like and above all, we hope your suggestions to improve your stay with us.
See you in September!
