Prepare your university year in Barcelona

One of the best years of your life is about to begin, we will help you plan your first few days as a student in Barcelona. 

You have just moved to study at the University of Barcelona, it is your first year of living alone, everything is new for you, and you don't know where to start. Don't worry! we will tell you how to prepare for your new stage.

The first thing is to make sure that you have chosen your accommodation well; our student residence in Barcelona is a last generation accommodation that does not renounce its family character. It has only 12 places to give you the most personal treatment and with all the services included. The common spaces invite you to share moments with your classmates, and the rooms are equipped with all the details, in an iconic location in Barcelona.

We also have agreements with different universities and study centres, so that the students of our residence hall will be able to enjoy numerous advantages.

Your stay will be the closest thing to feeling "at home", and you will have the opportunity to be surrounded by many other students who are waiting to meet you; therefore, we recommend that you arrive at least one or two weeks before the start of your classes.

If, in addition, one of your future classmates from your university residence in Barcelona is going to study in your own centre, you can go together or together to get to know it before classes start, and thus calculate the time it will take you, each day, to get there, something very important to take into account if you don't want to waste too much time on the metro or bus.

You should also familiarise yourself with the city and, above all, with the neighbourhood where your student residence is located and so know, for example, where the nearest pharmacy is, the supermarket or even if there is a gym, if you want to sign up for sport; you should also do a little tourism and fix on the map all those "essential" points that you can't miss in Barcelona and to whom you can't miss a visit in the coming days or months. Isn't it exciting?
