Open-air concerts at the University of Barcelona

From the 3rd to the 19th of July, several emerging groups will fill the garden of the Historical Building of the University of Barcelona with pure music. This year, the organizers of the event, have opted for new musical formations, but the most advanced in the current music scene. Most of the groups that will act in this unique, fresh, green, well-connected space that was declared a historical-artistic monument in 1970 and that in 1997 the Barcelona City Council included it in the municipal catalog of natural areas and green spaces, they have just released (or are in it) their first album.

For those who love conventional and commercial music, they will seem risky but authentic proposals, both in musical style, as in the message and in the staging. The groups come from Barcelona itself, from Navarre and the Balearic Islands

Inaugurate these concerts to the fresh, the guys from Jorra i Gomorra, a pop rock band. Later he will enter the scene, Sosun with his funny and unusual electropop. Third, the good ones of L'Espiadimonis, later, Side Chick and the indielectrònica de Nuu. The last one to go on stage will be Melenas.

All performances and concerts will start at 9:00 p.m. but the venue will be open to the public from 6:00 p.m. and you can enjoy a very fresh Star and the food and refreshments of a foodtruck, to arrive with strength to dance and listen to the concerts.
