Apps that get out of bed, literally!
Are you the one who sounds the alarm and turns it off thinking "five minutes more" and it rings again, and you turn it off again, and again, until you finally being late for class?
Are you also the ones who have your study table with mountains of disorganized notes and do not know where to start ordering them, when it comes time to study?
Are you one of those who cannot live without technology and social networks with their continuous interruptions, that no matter how hard your willpower is, that you cannot stop looking askance at them?
You're lucky! We have found several applications that will help you solve these small daily problems. They are really incredible, so sit down on the sofa of your student residence in Barcelona, and read carefully.
"Maths Alarm Clock": this great, free and available application for IOS and Android makes it impossible for you to turn off the alarm clock to continue sleeping "five minutes", unless you solve a mathematical problem before; only if you can solve it, the alarm will go off, and maybe that activation of your brain will make you no longer sleepy and want to get out of bed. But if you think that these mathematical problems will not be enough to continue "five minutes more" there is another application, "Sleep if you can", in this case free but only available for IOS, which goes much further, will only let you turn off the alarm clock if you get up and take a picture of your toilet! Is not that amazing? We found it very funny!
"Goconqr": it's free for IOS and Android, and a fantastic application to share your notes with other colleagues and access them from anywhere. You can view and share online notes, slides, memory cards and mind maps, previously created on their website. We encourage you to take a look at this tool that will allow you to have an unblemished study table. You will be the envy of your classmates in the student residence!
Finally we present you "Selfcontrol" free and available for IOS. This application is for those who do not have willpower before the distractions of social networks; you can block any web or application, for a certain time, and it will be a really productive time in your studies and your concentration, without any virtual distraction. Think well how long you want to leave those websites blocked, because you will not be able to undo the block, until the time that you have previously established passes.
Which are you going to get off first? We have to recognize that "Sleep if you can" has been the one, we found the most original.
